Right to Decline
The artist reserves the right to decline any project if she is not comfortable with the concept, content, or requirements of the commission.

Project Timeline
Quality art takes time. Rush commissions are not accepted, and all projects will follow a mutually agreed-upon timeline to ensure the best possible outcome.

Payment Policy
A 50% down payment or full payment is required before any work begins. Payments confirm the client’s slot and commitment to the project.

No rush commissions. Please allow sufficient time for quality work.

Non-Payment Consequences. Failure to settle the full payment after the project is completed will result in blacklisting. You cannot also use the commissioned material for your project.

Revisions. For illustrated commissions, revisions must be done during the sketching stage only. Any revision requested after coloring or upon completion may incur additional charges. For book cover, two free round of revisions are free.

Credit Requirement. For book publishing projects, the designer (Covered by Grace) must be credited on the copyright page and/or at the back of the cover. Failure to provide proper credit will result in blacklisting, and you will no longer be permitted to use the design in your book.

Usage Rights.
    ✤All copyrights of the commissioned project remain with the artist. By commissioning me, you are granted the right to use the design solely for the agreed project only.
    ✤Rejected samples or draft designs remain the sole intellectual property of the artist.
    ✤Book designs, illustrations, and interior artworks are intended only for book printing. Usage on merchandise (e.g., shirts, mugs, tote bags) will require an additional licensing fee.
    ✤If a design intended for a specific format (e.g., paperback) will be reused for another format (e.g., hardcover), additional fees will apply.
    ✤If the book cover will be reprinted under a different publishing house, additional licensing/payment is required.
    ✤Unauthorized copying, imitation, or use of the artist’s designs without her knowledge and consent is strictly prohibited. The artist reserves the right to take legal action against such violations.

Source File Clause. Source files (e.g., PSD, AI, INDD) are not included in standard commissions. If the client requests the editable source file, an additional fee equivalent to ten (10) times of the original project fee will be charged. This is because providing source files transfers a significant portion of the artist’s intellectual property rights, allowing the client to freely modify, reuse, and repurpose the work without the artist’s continued involvement.

Portfolio & Promotion Rights. The artist retains the right to post completed projects on their social media accounts, website, and professional portfolio. If possible, the client is encouraged to tag or mention the artist (Covered by Grace) in any social media or promotional posts that feature the commissioned design.

Complimentary Copy. A complimentary copy of the published book is always appreciated but not required—unless otherwise stated in the project agreement, in which case the client must provide the artist with a complimentary copy.

Refund Policy.
    ✤All downpayments are non-refundable.
    ✤No refunds will be issued if the client cancels the project after the artist finished the artwork.
    ✤A full refund will be issued only if the artist cancels the project.
